Dear Friends

This is Victorias Fundraiser page for Empire State Youth Orchestra and her Repertory Orchestra. Many of you have participated over the years with us at various events and fundraisers. We appreciate all of the love and support you have shown to Tori. Empire State Youth Organization (ESYO) has been a rich and lasting experience for our family and especially for Victoria. She has been blessed to be able to play at area venues. Most notable is the Troy City Music Hall where The Albany Symphony Orchestra plays regularly. 

While this is likely Tori's last year playing with ESYO, I hope this year you can ramp up your financial support in this honor. This will be for this years playathon at Crossgates Mall on March 23, 2024. It runs from 10:30-5pm and features ALL of the various ESYO youth and talent. All are welcome and Christine and I hope that you can attend.

A few facts about ESYO:

-50% of ESYO's annual operating budget comes from donations and they keep the tuition low for entering students and families.

-There are over 500 students and 12 performing ensembles as well as a free after school music education program.

-Their new facilty will be located in Scotia NY at a converted Catholic School in a safe neighborhood. It is accesible by bus route and  it will be a premiere experience for future generations of ESYO performers.

Again, thank you for your support and love given to Victoria as a Violinist for ESYO Repertory Orchestra over the last 10 years. Her life has been enriched in ways that have not been fully realized but we are certain it has shaped in profound ways. Your support will touch the lives of countless other families in the same way, who would love for their young children to be given the opportunity to develop their own hidden talents. ESYO is the place to do this!!

🎶 SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF MUSIC 🎶

Playathon is ESYO’s most important friend-raiser and fundraiser of the year! This fun-filled day of music raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth & depth of our program! This free, family event takes place on Saturday, March 23rd from 10:30am through 5:15pm at Crossgates Mall and showcases hundreds of young musicians. It's the only day of the year where all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform—from the deep rumble of the percussion ensembles to the uplifting trills of the wind orchestra. The day also includes live auctions, including a chance to lead one of the ensembles!

The marathon display of musical talent is more than simply a community concert, it helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO Experience because of an inability to pay. Your support is needed now more than ever. The money raised will fund a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.

Our Playathon fundraising goal for 2024 is $120,000. To reach our goal, we have challenged each ensemble, our board of directors, and our staff with their own fundraising goal. Help them get there by giving generously today!
