I hope this message finds you all well. As I embark on my third year of fundraising for ESYO, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your past support.
Creating and making music with friends has been a truly rewarding experience. I've loved playing in Wind Ensemble, Repertory Orchestra, and the Youth Percussion Ensemble. I've learned so much during my time in ESYO and have made lasting friendships that I cherish. As I pursue my Music Major in college, I carry these lessons and connections with me.
Thank you once again for your encouragement and support.
Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!
Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
