Hello, I'm Emma Padula and I joined Esyo in 6th grade. I started in Concertino groups and now I'm in the Wind Orchestra. I joined Esyo because it was fun and a little bit of a challenge. I have made lots of new friends who make the experience even better. Esyo is a very fun space where you can make lots of music! When you donate to our fundraising pages it helps us continue giving so many kids the opportunity to be the best they can be. Every Sunday I get ready to have fun in the Wind Orchestra with my other peers.

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
