I first joined ESYO through the concertino brass when I was in elementary school, which was about 4 years ago. Since then, I have seen how much ESYO has helped my fellow musicians to grow in both their social life and their musical talent. Without ESYO, my current friendships would not have grown to be as strong as they are today, while some would not exist at all. The only reason my joining of ESYO was made possible was through donations made from people like you, the one reading this message. Every week, I always look forward to Tuesday nights and Sunday evenings. Why? Because that is when I have ESYO reperatory orchestra rehearsal and ESYO wind orchestra rehearsal. Each rehearsal is always a blast, and I always have so much fun! It would be really cool of you to donate to ESYO. It's for a good cause! Every cent you donate contributes to a possible future of someone like me discovering the wonders of ESYO.

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
