Dear family, friends and teachers. I am writing to ask for your support for the Empire State Youth Orchestra. This is my first year in ESYO Wind Orchestra playing clarinet and I am really enjoying it. I am excited about continuing with ESYO hopefully in a full orchestra next year. I have made some great improvements with my teacher Ye Hu. In addition to clarinet, I still take piano lessons and I started my voice lessons, so I am very busy with music (happily).
I would really appreciate any support you can offer to help ESYO so I can continue making friends and music in the ensembles!

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!
Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
