     The Empire State Youth Orchestra breathes life into our communities with music that flows all over the world!  Being a part of ESYO these past several years has been a magical and humbling experience.  The Repertory Orchestra has allowed me to play my violin with a diverse group of like minded musicians in venues that make my dreams soar.  It has challenged me to always rise to the occasion. I have grown as a musician and as a leader. I can't WAIT to teach! Watch out world, we're going to make you a better place!

    WHAT:   BEAUTIFUL MUSIC AND AMAZING ENERGY while we raise donations and you shop.

     Raising these donations helps to ensure that the tuition we pay to be a part of ESYO remains low, nearly 50% of their annual operating budget comes from the generosity of the people and businesses around us.  There are more than 500 youth musicians in 12 performing ensembles, a free after school music program and scholarships (to ensure EVERYONE has a chance) that could use your support.  Please consider coming to see us at the mall or even making a donation to ESYO through my page here.

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
