ESYO gives young musicians like me the opportunity to grow and perform with others that share the same goals. I use music as an outlet when life gets out of hand. Having something to focus on during the pandemonium of life is something I am grateful for. ESYO provides financial assistance for tuition, instruments, and lessons for students that can’t afford these opportunities on their own. Your support helps fund scholarships, instruments, and the ability for students to perform at world class venues like Carnegie Hall. Please consider donating so that young musicians have the chance to pursue their musical career.   

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
