Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!!! I was accepted in ESYO's Concertino Strings ensemble for the 2024-25 and it has been the best experience.  I have played violin since 1st grade and play in my school orchestra.  Unfortunately, the school orchestra does not provide opportunities to be challenged as we have to play at the level of the most inexperienced player.  ESYO has provided me the opportunity to be challenged and tackle pieces with a kids from other schools who share the same interest.....being great musicians.  ESYO provides me a place to grow my skills and continues to support my love of music.  

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
