Hi family and friends!

I am a proud ESYO alum (violin, 1998-2004), and as of this year I am serving as the Board Chair of ESYO. I want to invite you to support this wonderful organization during our annual Playathon fundraiser, which provides youth an opportunity to come together in a strong musical community and perform repertoire of various genres at a high level together. ESYO also provides an after-school program for kids to begin their musical journey, which has been very inspiring for me personally.

By supporting ESYO, you help the next generation to have high-quality instruction and performance experiences that also benefit growth in other areas of their lives!

Playathon is Empire State Youth Orchestra’s most important fundraiser and friend-raiser of the year! This fun-filled day of free musical performances raises money for ESYO while showcasing the breadth and depth of our programs. It is the one day of the year when all ESYO ensembles (including CHIME) perform in one location!

Your support is needed now more than ever. The marathon display of musical talent helps ESYO ensure no qualified musician is ever turned away from the ESYO experience because of an inability to pay. The money raised will support a substantial portion of ESYO’s operating expenses and musician scholarships.
